Staff
El Castillo has a professional, dedicated staff that genuinely cares about our residents. We are particularly proud of our staff longevity.
Administration
The overall management of El Castillo is entrusted to our management team who report to the Board of Directors.
Marketing
The community and potential residents get to know El Castillo through our Director of Marketing who provides information, answers questions, and gives tours of the campus. The Wait List, application for residency and other important aspects come through this department.
Resident Services
When residents have ideas, questions, special needs or requests, their first stop is the Director of Resident Services. This department publishes the monthly resident newsletter, plans holiday parties and assists residents in a wide variety of ways.
Dining Services
Delicious food is high on the list of reasons why our residents recommend El Castillo to their friends. This department includes the Director of Dining Services, the kitchen staff, servers for Independent Living residents, our Deli window, and meals for Assisted Living and Nursing residents.
Health Center/Nursing
El Castillo consistently gets recognized for the caring, helpful staff in our Health Center. Two of the last four years we have had staff members recognized as “Best of the Best” by the New Mexico Health Care Association in their annual competition. Our nurses and nursing assistants have a commitment to quality of service as well as genuine concern for our residents.
Housekeeping
One of the amenities at El Castillo is that this department cleans the apartments and does flat laundry for Independent Living residents, as well as those in Assisted Living and Nursing. Housekeepers clean all common areas and offices and make sure El Castillo exceeds the expectations of residents and visitors.
Maintenance
From sweeping to snow removal, from pruning trees to making sure the air conditioning works, the maintenance department is constantly busy making sure El Castillo is safe, comfortable and attractive.
